Self-taught Dirk Van der Linden was born in Antwerp on 28 August 1969 and started playing the guitar at the age of 6.  At12,  Dirk started to play his first jazz gigs in Antwerp on both piano and organ.

Now, Dirk Van der Linden plays the Hammond organ, guitar, piano, bass and is also  composer, producer.

He’s also the representative in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg for Hammond Suzuki.

In 1989  he decided  to turn Pro.

He worked for Radio and television many times in both Belgium and Europe

Dirk plays concerts with several jazz formations not only all over Europe, but also on Ibiza, Morocco, New Zealand, Guadeloupe, Arab Emirates and the U.S.

He has worked with the likes of Clark Terry, Toots Thielemans, Deborah Brown, Red Holloway, Dan Barrett, Howard Alden, Tom Baker, Mike Carr,  Frits Landesbergen, Eddie Locke, Bruce Adams, Bob Barnard, Leroy Jones, Teddy Edwards, Charlie Gabriel, Mark Braud, Bob Mover, Gary Smulyan, Carlo d ‘ Wys, Gianni Basso, Andy Cooper, Patrick Artero, John Barnes, Joe Muranyi, Charlie Antolini, Mighty flea Conners, Lilian Boutté, Danny Doriz, Mandy Gaines, Jesse van Ruller.
